About Relentless Surrender

Amy Velazquez

Hello, my darling readers! This is the part where I’m supposed to write something formal about myself. Well, first things first. I want this site to be relatable and personable. Formal is going out the window on this site. I guess I’ll start with the fact that I’m madly in love with Jesus Christ. I’ve been raised in church my entire life, but it is within the past couple of years that God has had to break down many misconceptions and truly bring me face to face with Him, in a manner of speaking. You’ll be able to read more about this in my blogs. Anyway, I’m married to the love of my life, Jason. We have two amazing children. I have a degree in professional counseling. However, I am currently homeschooling my daughter and enjoying the rewards (and challenges) of being a stay-at-home mom. I tend to be an introvert and am very protective of my personal life; this blog is definitely a way of breaking down certain walls in order to shine His light.

Much love! Amy Velazquez

Jason Velazquez

Hello, hello! As for introductions, my name is Jason. I have been raised in church all my life, however, I can say that I never really committed to a relationship with Christ until the age of 19. Many of the things that I share will be about my constant struggle with character and my identity in Christ. I am married to my beloved wife, Amy, and I am a father of two “peanut buddies”.  I am a creative by trait. I love the term “creative” because what I do is very multifaceted; whether it’s in photography, animation, web design, or music, just to name a few. This is all so new and I am excited to share so much with you. I’ll never claim to have ALL the answers, but my prayer is that our experiences might be an on-time answer for you. We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us and read through our content.

Sincerely, Jason
